Dr. Cally Ko is Vice President and General Manager of Corporate Strategic Business Development and Alliance for managing corporate strategic accounts and global key accounts, as well as setting the directions for global sales operation and resources planning, to drive branded/solutions business growth and move on to strategic business model rapidly. She is responsible for developing sales strategies and operations, implementing sales activities to facilitate Delta business diversification globally.

Before this position, Dr. Cally Ko had been CIO & CISO for 8 years since 2011. She integrated Delta global information systems, input Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure Services, Cloud PBX, SDWAN, SDDC, and SAP HANA ERP etc., and combined IT & OT, to inspire Delta IT becoming a cohesive firm team and being able to support Delta's digital transformation and upgrade to Industry 4.0 for smart manufacturing and more business opportunities in future.

Dr. Cally Ko built up a green data center recognized as the world’s first LEED v4 ID+C Platinum certification through the integration of Delta’s high-efficiency server power supplies and modular UPSs, precision cooling, LED lighting and environment monitoring system.

Prior to this role, she served as Director in Microsoft Taiwan Marketing and Operation organization, in charge of the marketing strategy and execution for Microsoft's cloud services and solutions for enterprise. Keynote Speaker Charles Lamanna Corporate Vice President, Low code platforms, Microsoft
Charles leads the Engineering teams for the Low Code Application Platform (LCAP) in the Digital Transformation Platform Group. The LCAP team includes the Dynamics 365 platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power Portals, Dataverse and AI Builder products. Under his leadership, the Dynamics 365 service moved to Azure and evolved into a fully managed SaaS–on a single version, with regular updates. The Dynamics 365 platform is now one of the largest fully Azure hosted SaaS products in the world, deployed to over 30 datacenters and supporting the entire Dynamics 365 business. Before that, Charles worked in Azure for 4 years, leading the engineering teams that created Azure Resource Manager, Azure Autoscale, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Activity Logs and several other management related capabilities. Before Azure, Charles founded MetricsHub, one of the first offerings for public cloud cost management and service health monitoring. MetricsHub was acquired by Microsoft in 2013.

Currently the speaker is a cloud solution architect in Microsoft Taiwan, and he is responsible for design of cloud security architecture. With nearly 11 years of industry experience, he specializes in the areas of information security and software development.

Prior to joining Microsoft Taiwan, he worked in the information security department of a large semiconductor company in Taiwan. And he performed security assessments to identify security weaknesses and blind spots. His focused assessment areas include public cloud, software applications, and IT infrastructure. Besides, he has solid experiences in system development.

The speaker also has a master’s degree in computer science at National Taiwan University, and bachelor’s degree in computer science at National Central University.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Xu Mingqiang Chief Technology Officer, One Commercial Partner, Greater China Region, Microsoft

Dr. Mingqiang Xu is presently the CTO of the Microsoft One Commercial Partner organization, being responsible for the partners’solution building/planning. His team is focusing on providing architectural support for solutions in areas of modern workplace, data and AI, business applications and cloud infrastructure and applications.

In the year of 2016 and 2021, Dr. Xu Mingqiang was the CTO, Microsoft GCR. He is responsible for the business vision and strategy development and his team is focusing on driving the digital transformation for companies of all sizes in the Greater China Region.

In the year of 2015 and 2016, Dr. Xu was the General Manager of Microsoft Azure Group, Microsoft China, who oversaw Microsoft Azure business in China. At that time he worked with his team to provide solutions for local and multinational enterprises to transform towards the Internet, and accumulated rich experiences in big data, Internet, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and mobile Internet application.

Dr. Xu Mingqiang joined Microsoft High-Performance Computing (HPC) team in the US at its inception in 2004 and program-managed a global team spanning Redmond and Shanghai to accomplish the development of Windows Compute Cluster 2003 and Window HPC Server 2008. In 2008, Dr. Xu Mingqiang returned to Shanghai and acted as Principal Architect, to lead China HPC team in building deep expertise around parallel computing runtime system, programming pattern, design and development of management and user portal.

Before joining Microsoft, Dr. Xu Mingqiang served as Principal Architect of Platform Computing, the leading cluster computing software vendor, between 1996 and 2004. From 1993 and 1995, Dr. Mingqiang Xu was concentrate on parallel language compilation and support system research, and pursued his post doctorate studies at the Argonne National Laboratory.

Dr. Mingqiang Xu holds a PhD degree of Computer Science from University of Exeter, United Kingdom. In addition, he used to act as Research Assistant in University of Manchester.

Amit Khandelwal Senior Program Manager, Microsoft
Amit Khandelwal is a Snr PM on the Azure Data team. His current area of interest is SQL Server on Linux ecosystem, which includes SQL Server Linux-based containers. He has over a decade of SQL Server experience in a variety of roles at Microsoft, including support and field. Dr. Jiaxin Yu is the overseer and director of the AI innovation center at China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) in Taiwan. He is also an assistant professor of CMU. AI innovation center was found by him in Nov, 2019, and it has now grown into a group with 5 additional professional workers. Under his leadership, AI innovation center performs AI-related research in the fields of healthcare and medical sciences to aid in disease diagnosis, prevention, treatment, drug discovery, healthcare service improvement and etc. He was a visiting researcher at the Microsoft Headquarter in Seattle, United States from 2018 to 2019. For his educational background, he holds a PhD degree in Neuroscience from the National Yang Ming University in Taiwan. Having been focusing on development projects for 14 years, Kevin Wu has solid experience in .Net and SharePoint projects. While making project plans, Kevin participated in customers%27 transformation journey as well, and he deeply knew their business challenges. Now Kevin%27s team managed to deliver end-to-end development projects using Microsoft cloud services including Azure, DevOps, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Teams.
